What do you love most about your profession?
As Investment Advisor Representatives, one of our most important responsibilities is to “Know Your Customer (KYC).” While there are regulatory standards for what this means, I genuinely love going above and beyond to get to know our clients and help them work towards achieving their goals.
What do you love most about being part of Hart Financial Group?
Everyone on our team respects the effort that comes with building wealth, making wise financial decisions and putting the interest of the client first. What I love the most is the shared understanding of our responsibility to our clients and the commitment to act with a high level of thought and integrity.
What qualities of yours make you well suited for your career?
I am diligent, dependable and empathic. These personality characteristics – combined with my industry experience and extended academic background – allow me to ‘step into the client’s shoes’ and better identify their financial needs.
What hobbies or interests do you have outside of work?
When I am not in the office, my favorite thing to do is to spend time with my family, especially my two nephews. I also love exploring Texas, reading, watching movies and all things related to Texas A&M University.
If you had to choose another career what would you do?
I would want to be a representative for Texas A&M and work with schools to help students understand the benefits and opportunities higher education (especially at Texas A&M) can provide.
What’s one experience you wish you could do all over again?
Summer trips to the beach when I was a kid with my entire family – my grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins. We would wake up every morning and head straight to the beach. Playing in the ocean, building sand castles, looking for sea shells, and never stepping foot inside until it was time to go to bed!
If you could live anywhere besides Austin, where would you live and why?
Bryan/College Station – it is where I grew up, went to college, and most of my family still lives there.
